American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
Known simply as ASHRAE, this association consists of more than 50,000 HVAC professional who offer a plethora
of resources relating to education and research in the industry.
Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers
The AHAM consists of manufacturers of major and portable home appliances including refrigeration and air
conditioning equipment manufacturers. To become a member, you need to have a market presence in the United
States.
American National Standards Institute
The ANSI is dedicated to the creation and promotion of guidelines for quality across a spectrum o businesses and
industries. It is also involved in the accreditation of such internationally recognized quality control programs as the
ISO 9000 brand.
The Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada
Membership of the HRAI includes manufacturers, wholesalers and Contractors in Canada who constantly update
with the latest news and changes in policy affecting the industry.
